The following are Neal Corwell’s published original works and arrangements for performance with a pre-recorded accompaniment and/or electronics. With the exception of Dusk*, all pieces listed below have a pre-recorded accompaniment. The accompaniments are recorded on CD and may be played back on any stereo audio system. Because these pieces were designed specifically to be performed with CD accompaniment, they are written and recorded in a manner that makes it relatively easy to stay in synchronization with the CD while performing the live solo or duo part. Except where noted, the performer is NOT required to add any electronic effects, so no electronic audio expertise is required. Several of the works also exist in other formats that do not require CD accompaniment (some also have band, piano, or quartet accompaniments). * Dusk is for solo with live electronics. Nothing is pre-recorded. However, a CD containing live performances of the piece by the composer is included, along with the score/part and detailed and helpful performance notes.
** Fantasy on “Night” has a pre-recorded accompaniment, but also gives the soloist the option of adding live electronics to enhance the solo part.
