This is one of the sections of the website containing several different lists of Neal Corwell’s music. If the title of a work contained within a list is highlighted in blue, click on it, and you will be taken to an information page providing more data about that specific piece. In addition to program notes and reviews, this page may provide helpful detailed factual data to include range, difficulty, and so on. Music samples are also often provided.*

The
Music Lists (complete) section is largely self-explanatory. It contains three lists which include all the available pieces. You may search for pieces alphabetically, chronologically, or by difficulty. These lists include ALL of Neal’s published pieces. You will also find a listing of all of Neal’s music that is currently included on the current New York State solo and ensemble list.

You may also search for pieces with a specific
instrumentation (euphonium, tuba, trombone, duo, ensemble and so on), or type of accompaniment such as CD accompaniment, or piano accompaniment.

Other
categorical listings have also been included such as: pieces that are arrangements of works by other composers, humorous works, pieces recommended as “encores”, and works designed for the young artist (or the seasoned artist looking for works that don’t push one to the limits). There is now even a listing of Christmas Music.

_______
*Music excerpts are provided for many pieces as a tool for helping you find the compositions that best suit your musical needs. You are encouraged to print these samples and spend time playing through them on your instrument. For a clarification of the information provided on these pages, click on the
explanatory key to the music listings.

If a piece you are interested in does not have a link (ie. is not highlighted in blue), or if you have additional questions, please feel free to email Dr. Corwell via the “contact Neal” link found at the bottom of every web page. He will be glad to provide information and answer questions about any of his music.
